Volleyball Superleague 2023 is the 32nd Russian volleyball tournament under the auspices of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation (VVF). The tournament has been held annually among professional clubs since 1992 and is the highest national championship.

The championship is multi-stage and takes place in several stages. In the first stage of the regular season, each club plays two games against its opponent (home/away). In the men’s league teams must play 30 games, and in the women’s league 26 games.

In the regular championship each team receives 3 points for a victory with a difference in 2 sets, with a difference in 1-n set – 2 points. The losing team in 1-n set gets 1 point, and losing in 2-sets gets no points.

At the end of the first round, the best clubs advance to the playoff round. In the men’s league the top 4 teams get a direct ticket to the ¼ finals, and the teams from 5th to 12th place will qualify in a series of up to two wins.

In the Women’s Superleague, there is no qualifying round; the top 8 teams advance to the ¼ finals. The quarterfinals are played in a series of games to 2 wins, and the ½ and finals in a series of games to 3 wins.

Teams ranked 9th to 16th in the men’s championship and 11th to 14th in the women’s championship will play a playoff round. The worst-ranked men’s and women’s team will play a 3-win playoff round against the first team in the Major League A.

The most titled team in the men’s league is Zenit from St. Petersburg (10 wins). Belgorod volleyball club Belogorie takes the second place with 8 titles. The leader among women is Uralochka-NTMK (14 titles). Second place goes to Dynamo Moscow (7 titles).
