Volleyball highlights – these are short plots of the past matches in the Superleague in volleyball among men’s and women’s teams. The videos are prepared by professional journalists, and represent a slicing of the most interesting moments.

Volleyball Super League is the highest superiority in volleyball of Russia, which is held under the auspices of the All-Russian Volleyball Federation. The League was founded in 1992 and is the successor of the Supreme League of the USSR, founded in 1933.

In the season of 2024 there are 15 teams in the men’s Superleague, and 14 in the women’s Superleague. Teams will play in two rounds. For men, the top 4 teams qualify immediately to the ¼ finals, and teams from 5th to 12th place will play the qualifying rounds of the playoffs with a gold set.

Interesting fact! Volleyball is currently the second most popular sport in the world, second only to soccer. This sport is played by about 1 billion people, or 15% of the world’s population.

The women’s top eight will advance directly to the playoff round. The ¼ finals will be a series of games to 2 wins, but the semifinals and finals will be a series of games to 3 wins. The league’s worst teams will play a playoff round against the Major League A winners.
